Claude proposes, you preview, drag, refine. They search Apple Music for real and show you candidates with 30-second previews you can play right there. Real curation, not a generated stream.
When the tracklist feels right, one click commits it as a real Apple Music playlist. Spotify support coming next. Open it in your usual app and play it like any other.
Chat-first. You stay in the loop on every track. AI DJ generates a stream you can't edit; this builds a saved playlist you control.
30-second clips play right next to each suggestion. No jumping out to another app, no copy-pasting URLs.
Your taste, your style, your no-go artists. A 60-second onboarding pulse seeds every conversation. Coming with the next release.
Save to the service you already use. Apple Music is live; Spotify is the next big add. Sign-in stays separate from save-to so you can mix and match.

Playlist Duet is a chat-first interface for curating playlists. You describe a vibe; an AI that knows music searches the catalog with you, plays you 30-second previews inline, and lets you drag the draft into shape. When the tracklist feels right, one click commits it as a real playlist in your library.
Two ways to use: bring your own key today (you pay Anthropic directly, ~$0.10 per playlist), or — soon — top up a small ZAR wallet and let us handle the math. Either way, your Apple Music token never leaves your browser. No subscription. No data resold.
Built around discovery, curation, and your library— collaborative, not generative. That's the whole pitch.

A wallet (ZAR top-ups) is launching once we're sure of the per-playlist cost. Until then, BYOK is free — you connect your own Anthropic API key (~$0.10 per playlist session, paid directly to Anthropic). You also need an Apple Music subscription — Apple's API requires it.
Yes — that's next after we sharpen the Apple Music experience. Sign-in stays separate from save-to, so you can use a Google account to chat and choose either music service to save to.
AI DJ generates a stream you can't edit. This builds a saved playlist you control, with you in the loop on every track. Discovery, not delivery.
Built in Cape Town. Local-first by default — USD / EUR / GBP are shown for reference at daily exchange rates. Top-up balances are held in ZAR.
Never. Apple's own popup handles authentication. We receive an opaque token that lets us write to your library, but we never see your credentials. The token lives in your browser; not on our server.
Chat history and draft tracklists are stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest. Sensitive credentials (your Anthropic key, Apple Music token) are encrypted with AES-256-GCM or kept browser-only — your call. We don't share details of the specific stack publicly for security reasons. If you have a data-handling concern, email Coenraad and we'll talk specifics.
Yes. There'll be a Forget-me button in settings post-launch. Today, ping Coenraad directly.
